I love Summer and there are products that I love using during this time of the year that I want to share with you all. Hope this helps if you are looking for some new things to try for this hot time of year!
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub: During the summer time we wear a lot of dresses and shorts and I don't want my legs looking dry and flaky. This scrub is the best one I have ever tried. It's perfect for body exfoliation and it has an amazing clean citrus scent to it which is amazing for the summer to energize you. I like using this on my arms, legs and back because its thick and but not greasy. It is a must try if you are looking for a new body scrub!
La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Spray: Thermal sprays are perfect year round for me, but especially in the summer. They just refresh your skin and give you that boost after a long hot day. New York has been extremely hot and I always carry this in my purse. It's amazing! I love the Avene one, but this is a perfect sized bottle and is as good.
Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful Sunscreen: I can't stress this enough to people how important SPF is. The sun is probably the worse thing for your skin and protection during these sunny days is very important. I love this particular sunscreen because its lightweight and lets your skin breathe which isn't easy to find in other sunscreens. Most of them are thick and greasy, but this one is perfect to use under makeup, almost like a primer.
Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen: I love this for the days I'm not wearing makeup because it gives full protection without being too thick and doesn't clog the pores. It does smell a little sunscreeny, but I have been using sunscreen for such a long time that it doesn't bother me too much.
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream: I prefer using something light for coverage on the skin. CC creams are perfect for that. CC stands for color correcting cream. It is lightweight and covers great. This isn't completely matte but gives a little glow. Overall, its great for the summer.
Soap and Glory Solar Powder: As you can tell, I love Soap and Glory products! This is a great bronzer. I love to keep my makeup very natural during the summer time but loves a natural bronzy glow to the face. This has two bronzing shades. One is light and one is medium. I usually swirl both together and use them all over my face and to contour a little. It is a great all rounder for a bronzer.
NYX Lipstick in Femme and Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien: I love coral lipsticks and nude lipsticks for the summer. These are two perfect ones. They are moisturizing and are the prettiest colors. Femme is a perfect red coral that looks gorgeous with everything you wear. When I am feeling a more nude look, Rikugein is great.
Not Your Mother's Hair, Beach Babe Texturizing Spray: I used to use this a lot last year and I am back to using it. It works great if you want the perfect wavy look. It's great because when I use it, I am not using heat on my hair. It is also affordable unlike most texturizing sprays.
