WAKING UP IN CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO!

Greetings!

I have been planning this vacation for a while now and even though I wanted to just relax, I decided to take a few pictures and of course, vlog a highlights video for all of you! I also want to break down my trip from the hotel, sightseeing, activities to the food and give you my recommendations. I hope this post helps you in case you are planning a trip to Cabo or if you are just wanting to know more about beautiful Cabo San Lucas!
HOTEL:
We ended up staying at ME-Cabo hotel which was a great decision. The vibe was modern and young with gorgeous views. The beach was filled with white cabanas right next to the blue waters. We got the Petite King Suite. You can see the full tour in the video below. The room was extremely spacious and the balcony was just the cherry on top of the cake. Being able to wake up to that view and have breakfast on the balcony was perfection. With the "Petite King Suite", you get a personal concierge who helps you plan the activities you are looking for, restaurant recommendations, transportation and other information that you would have to go around looking for. We also got multiple other services like free breakfast, champagne and so much more. They have a bunch of DJ pool parties which are awesome. They also have a super relaxing spa with hot tubs that we got to use the last day. The food was also super good. I highly recommend the hotel!

SIGHTSEEING/ACTIVITIES:
El Arco or the Arc is well known in Cabo. It is a rock formation at the southern tip of Cabo San Lucas, which is itself the extreme southern end of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula. It is an absolute must see. We took a sunset cruise the first night which includes alcohol and food. It is fun because you get to meet a lot of people and the sunset tour is gorgeous around the Arc. If you want to see the Arc during the day and stop by the beaches, 'Divorce Beach and Love Beach', you can take a water taxi($18 round-trip). An hour away from Los Cabos is another gem called Todo's Santos. Todo's Santos is a little town with lots of art galleries, trinket shopping, authentic Mexican food and close to beautiful beaches. It is also the home to Hotel California from the famous Eagles song. Even though it is rumored to be the hotel from the song, it isn't. It is still a cool spot to check out and you can read more of the history online. You can also go beach hopping in Cabo! If you are into water excursions, they are easy to book also and are super fun! I also loved walking by the Marina where you can find lots of boats, restaurants, the mall, and little shops.

FOOD:
Cabo is filled with amazing restaurants. It is one of the big reasons I didn't want to do an all-inclusive package for the trip. You finally get a chance to eat some authentic Mexican food! I also went to an Italian spot, an American restaurant and steak house. Again, you can see all of those in the video below. The places we ate were Tacos Gardenias, Bar Esquina, Sunset da Mona Lisa(which has breathtaking views, a must go), Tequila Sunrise and The Office. Just for your information, all these spots make killer margaritas!

Overall, this was such a fun and memorable trip! I got to do everything from exploring to parties to good food to relaxing on the beach. I hope this post helps some of you and you enjoyed it. Until next time..
