WAKING UP IN DUBAI

Greetings!

I am currently visiting India and I thought of taking a vacation from my vacation (wink wink) and hopping on a short three-hour flight to the sandy and hot Dubai. As we got out of the airport, to my surprise and delight,  we were greeted by  Ladies Taxi, which I might add is such an interesting idea! They were female taxi drivers who looked more like models, with their striking looks. They were dressed from head to toe in pink uniforms. We didn’t waste anytime to explore the city and decided to get some brunch and of course, visit a souk.

The Burj Khalifa: Tallest Building in the world

The Burj Al Arab
Madiant Souk is right in front of the hotel where we had brunch, so all we needed was a golf cart and we were on our way! The Madiant Souk is a small market area with little trinkets for tourists that include art, kaftans, jewelry, cutlery, and many more collectibles.

For dinner, my family and I satisfied our sushi cravings at Zuma, with its very positive reviews, it sounded like the perfect option for the night. The food and drinks were delicious and I highly recommend it. We started the night with some strong but fruity shots, and  was highly impressed with their very famous sake, wide range of spirits and bomb diggity cocktails.
We ended up ordering fried shrimps/prawns and edamame for starters. For the main course, we ordered some sushi rolls, a dish of sea bass with yuzu truffle oil and salmon roe. Along with that, a side order of steak to satisfy my red meat cravings. We topped that off with some mouthwatering dessert, a cheesecake with berries and chocolate shavings.

Thanks for reading and do comment down below and let me know if any of you have been to a souk in Dubai? Another post about my adventure's in Dubai will be coming soon!
Hope you enjoyed!
