ALL ABOUT ZEP!

Greetings!

Today, I have quite a unique post to share with everyone. It is about something very close to my heart and very important to me. I know it may sound a little crazy, but this little guy is a big part of my life and I had to include him in my blog.
So here we go! #storytime
Once upon a time…
I was living in a big city with everything I could ask for, except for one thing….a pet. My parents, of course, thought I was too young to take up the responsibility of having a pet, so it was out of the question. I grew up with dogs all my life and it was such an important part of my existence, that I felt like I was missing something(does anyone else feel that way about a pet or am I just weird?)One night, I was actually helping my cousin look for a new dog online(she already had one Chihuahua at the time and was planning to get another). That’s when I saw Zepplin. He wasn’t the most handsome and cutest out of the whole lot. In fact, he was quite unattractive. There were tons of puppies that were just adorable, but I don’t know what it was about Zep.

I just knew in my heart that he was MY dog and in a way, my soul mate. I had looked at dog breeder websites before, but hadn’t felt any of them were for me.

Without thinking twice, I put a deposit on him. I hadn’t seen him in person but I just knew he was the dog I wanted. I called my parents, begged and begged, sent them pictures and explained how I could take up this responsibility and I was ready for it! Luckily, my parents said YES! I got him, as a birthday gift from them, which I have to say, was the best gift I could ever get in my life. Forget makeup, clothes or handbags!!! The second I saw that little munchkin, I was ready to take him home!

His name was  Zepplin when I bought him. It was just the perfect name and I didn’t think any other name would have been better for him. So I didn’t change it. To me, it just fit right! Yes, having a dog when you are in college and working is a responsibility, but it has been 2 and a half years and I am so happy that I made the decision I made! He is such a firecracker and a ball of joy and not like the “typical” Chihuahuas. He is not snappy or bratty. He’s just the perfect friend, baby, and companion in one. Anyone who meets Zepplin can only fall in love with him.  He makes everything all right when I am sad and makes things even better when I am happy.

P.S. I AM A CRAZY DOG LADY AS YOU CAN TELL, but I don’t mind it at all. If any of you are crazy about your pets you know how it is!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!
