NEW PRODUCT TESTING!

Greetings!

I am ALWAYS testing new beauty and skincare products out. I enjoy using them for a bit before I let you all know my thoughts. So here goes, some new things I have been trying and what I feel about them.
SKINCARE:

Anjali MD Rapid Brightening Serum

Serums are a great addition to your skincare and something I always recommend to everyone. For me, bright healthy skin is the most essential. I like when my skin is properly hydrated and has a natural glow to it which is why I tend to gravitate towards brightening products. After using this serum for the past month now, I can truly say that I love it and it has worked out perfectly in my routine. It really provides a fresh brightened look to my complexion when I wake up. This product over time also helps to fade dark spots and pigmentation which is a plus for me. So far I haven't seen a giant difference when it comes to dark spots, but that is something that comes with time, no matter what serum I use.  The products have natural ingredients like blends of Bearberry, Vitamin C, Songyi Mushroom, Antioxidants, White Tea, and Mulberry. Their products also have Persian Rose and Bodhi that help create a smooth brightened look. I like to use this serum at night with my favorite moisturizer. I use two squirts and massage it all over my face and neck. I love the packaging too because not only is it luxurious, it comes with a convenient pump.

Anjali MD Dark Spot Eraser Illuminating Mask

If you are on a hunt for a luxurious illuminating mask that will smooth your skin and give it a luminous glow, don't look further. This is an amazing mask. I like to use this mask 2-3 times a week because of the hydration boost it provides. If my skin is feeling dull, I like to apply this on for 15 minutes, let it soak in and then rinse it off. This helps the texture on my skin, making it very smooth and fresh. This masks also has great ingredients like papaya, pineapple, pomegranate, white tea, and Bodhi. It has a light cooling texture and drys down clear. I love how it makes my skin feel after. I know this is going to be a staple for the winter time!

Anjali MD's team was kind enough to send me these amazing products to try and also provided a DISCOUNT code for my lovely readers for 10% off at checkout. Acure Organics Sensitive Facial Cleanser

I run of out of facial cleansers quiet fast because I am always using them. I have heard of Acure before but had never tried any of their products. My routine is all about using a simple sensitive cleanser that leaves my skin squeaky clean and doesn't dry it out. I love that this lathers up a bit and has been great in my everyday routine. I also like that this is a natural product. It has soothing blends of organic argan oil, peony extract, and sunflower amino acids. Acure products are also extremely affordable in case you are on a budget. They have so many great affordable options that won't break the bank. I have ordered more products to try out so I look out for more reviews on this brand. This cleanser is only $10!

MAKEUP:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Ashton

I personally enjoy using liquid lipsticks because they stay on for hours and I don't want to be bothered with reapplying. I am always on the hunt for trying new liquid lipsticks and after trying so many brands I got this gorgeous color from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I love the color selection of their liquid lipsticks. The texture is quite mousey, unlike my other liquid lippies. These are not streaky or patchy, but apply on smoothly and last a very long time. The staying power is amazing and provides lots of pigment. I do find these quite drying though so I would use a lip balm before I apply. Ashton is a gorgeous fall/autumn shade that has a brown-yellowish undertone. Love them!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

Yes! I have finally tired this hyped up concealer that everyone and their mother was raving about and I have come to the verdict. I am obsessed. I now see why everyone loves this concealer. It is like no other concealers I own. But, when I first used this product, I was using it wrong. I have dry skin and when you apply too much of this product, it can cake up and look dry which is why I recommend using it lightly because it covered a lot. A little goes a long way for sure. It is a bit thicker than the other concealers I have used but that makes it so easy to cover everything. It doesn't crease and lasts ALL DAY! I love the packaging as well. It has lasted me quite a long time too compared to the higher end concealers I buy. This is holy grail for me!

Maybelline Master Prime Blur and Illuminate

I love primers and even though I like my high-end ones, I like to test drugstore primers. Usually, I don't find anything that I love, but I am pretty impressed with this primer. It comes out as a pinkish cream texture that instantly gives a clean fresh glow to the face. It doesn't add a ton of shine but it evens out the face very well. It also contains SPF which in my books is always a plus! I still prefer using my blur pore primer with this but this still gives a gorgeous glow. I think this provides the illumination for me, but if you want it to blur more, I would find something else. I love anything that will give me an extra healthy glow and even out my complexion before I apply anything else which is why this is great. Primers can end up being very expensive and this is under $10.

MAC Face and Body Foundation

I am truly NOT a fan of MAC foundations. They have never worked well for my skin even though they have a ton of options and colors to choose from. I love their other products but foundations were always a no-no until I picked this up. I wanted something for every day with not a ton of heavy coverage. I just wanted an everyday formula that helped with evening everything out. This foundation is supernatural. It is lightweight and very liquidy because it is water based. It has a gorgeous dewy fresh face formula that will work great for people with dry skin. You can build it up, but it still is quite sheer and will not provide a full coverage look. It evens my skin out and doesn't cake at all. There can be a learning curve when using this foundation. I don't use a beauty blender/sponge with this but I actually prefer using a brush or my fingers.

I love my powders and liquids when it comes to highlighters but I find creams can drag your foundation once applied which is why I don't use too many highlighter sticks until I bought this one. I used to use a lot of CARGO Cosmetics back in the day and hadn't tried anything new so I picked this from Ulta. It is very creamy which makes it easy to use and blend on the skin. I use this directly on the face when I want a high glow but when I just want a more natural look, I apply some of this on my fingers and blend on my cheekbones with my beauty blender. It has great color pay off and no big shimmers that will extenuate texture. Its pigmented and I love this champagne shade! It is also great to travel with!

Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara

I had been hearing so much about this mascara when it came out that I had to test it out. Apparently, this is a dupe for one of my favorite mascaras the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I find that the Too Faced mascara is still my favorite because it gives me a lot of volume. But, this one is for sure an amazing drugstore affordable alternative. It gives a ton of volume, length and doesn't flake one bit. I have worn it for hours and lashes look curled and fluttery. I highly recommend this if you are on a hunt for a new mascara.

Until next time...
