MY CUP OF TEAS!

Greetings!

My name is Mehar Singh and I am a tea-aholic. I love tea people, especially since it’s getting chillier outside.  I need tea day and night!
Don’t get me wrong, I love coffee, but I prefer the sweet and chocolaty frappuccino’s and cappuccino’s more than plain, simple dark coffee. However, my real love is tea. So I thought I would talk about a few of my favorites that I enjoy having, especially on these cozy autumn days.

So here it goes!

1) Dilmah Celyon Tea: Dilmah tea is actually headquartered in Sri Lanka. My grandfather travels there a lot for business and got me a box of this tea. My whole family is addicted to green tea, so this is our go-to green tea, because he buys tons of these and brings them back. This is probably my favorite green tea. The quality of the leaves is amazing. This has a light aroma and is perfect for digestion. This loose tea is comforting and every sip is crispy and fresh.

2) Fabindia Tulsi Green Tea: Tulsi green tea has potent fat burning properties.Tulsi and green tea both, are rich in antioxidants and promotes a healthy metabolism which is something I am always looking for. I love Green tea. I think it  improves digestion  and every morning a cup of green tea just energizes and makes my body feel fresh. This tea has a busy taste, which you taste because of the tulsi. Tulsi is holy basil that is grown in the Indian subcontinent. Tulsi is cultivated for religious and medicinal purposes, and for its essential oil. It is widely known across the Indian subcontinent as a medicinal plant and an herbal tea. This organic tea is perfect for those sick days! It does have a strong scent and taste, so if you're not someone who enjoys that I would skip it.

3) Tazo Passion Herbal Tea: If you enjoy fruity teas, this one is the right one for you. It’s fruit infused and has a sweet taste and smells quite floral.  It has a blend of Egyptian hibiscus, Chilean rose hips, delicate citrus, and lemongrass, which make Passion Herbal Tea from Tazo a refreshingly sweet blend of tropical flavors like mango and passion fruit. This is great for the mornings because it energizes and will wake you up!
4) Lipton: This is a classic. Now, I use this with a dash of milk and some sugar and it goes perfect with a chocolate chip cookie or dunking biscuits. For me this is more of a breakfast tea that I only drink in the morning because I think its heavier compared to the other teas.

5) Fabindia Ginger Peach Tea: This is a good one if you enjoy fruity and sweet teas. This is basically a bag of loose peach tea that tastes like peaches. It reminds me of that peach ice tea I used to drink as a kid! This one is a good refreshing one!

6) Wang Tu Tai Dragon Well Tea (Shanghai tea industry):
Another one from a recent travel, this tea is straight from China. Dragonwell tea is one of China’s most famous green teas. This tea has a very distinctive shape: smooth and perfectly flattened along the inside vein of the leaf, the result of highly skilled shaping in a hot wok. This process, known as pan-firing or pan-frying, was perfected in China by tea masters over many centuries.(so cool) This tea has a buttery texture,  a sweet flavor and overall a nutty and toasty aroma. It’s quite different, but I love it.

7) Fabindia Organic Jasmine Tea: These tea bags are a perfect combination of the smooth flavored green tea with a delicate fragrance of Jasmine. I love this tea at night, before going to bed, because it’s refreshing and calming because of the jasmine. It is brothy, which basically means its comforting.

8) Fabindia Box of Organic Premium Teas: This box of goodness is filled with a collection of various teas. All individually packaged tea bags include Chamomile Herbal Infusion, Darjeeling Mountain Dew, Darjeeling Blossom, Assam Golden Brew, Darjeeling White Tea and Lemon Green Tea. This is a great pack if you are someone who gets bored with the same teas. I like trying different teas depending on my mood and these are just great. It is a combination of  bold, light, calming, sweet, fruity and delicious teas!

As you can see many of the teas are Fabindia, but I truly enjoy their organic range of teas and highly recommend them! I have linked the tea's I could find but if you can't get hands on these particular ones you can find teas similar to this at your local tea shops!

Hope you enjoyed! ☺
