BEAUTY IN A BASKET!

Greetings my loves!

I often like to switch up my makeup from time to time. My collection keeps growing, so I like to mix and match products that I use depending on how my skin is feeling and my mood. I have a few products to share that I have been loving and that have been added to my makeup routine/basket!
Face:

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet: I picked this one up a while ago and loved it! I ended up forgetting about it once winter hit because I prefer the dewy looking foundations during this cold season. This foundation is a velvety matte texture that lasts on the skin. Even though it’s a matte powdery texture, it has given my whole makeup look a fresh look. It glides perfectly and doesn't make your face look cakey at all. My face looks more awake, even though most matte foundations leave the skin a bit blah. I have a whole review on this here.

Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush In Peaceful: I love these blushes! I haven’t put this baby down since I got it. It’s a smaller deluxe size and is just the perfect rosy peach color that gives your face the perfect flush of color. It’s natural but long lasting and looks gorgeous on the face. I feel like it goes with every makeup look. I love my dark lips in the winter time and this one compliments the whole look without looking overall dramatic. I highly recommend these blushes, if you are on a hunt for a new one. Here is a link to my full review and swatch.

Eyes:
Bare Minerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 In Epiphany: I this love duo! I am always using my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and never experiment with other shadows! But, I couldn’t keep my eyes off these colors. A-Ha(left) is a warm browny gold frosted color. It looks like any other neutral color but it has this unique finish and the pigmentation is outstanding. Foreshadow(right) is a dark matte red toned brown color. I love this to blend with A-Ha and they make a gorgeous duo! These shadows are buttery, pigmented and silky. I will be getting my hands on more soon!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner In Trooper: This liquid eyeliner!!!! It is my latest purchase and I am obsessed. I have been on a hunt for a new liquid eyeliner (like always!) and came across this one. I have heard outstanding reviews on this and had to try it out. So far, I love it. I see why it is loved by so many liquid liner addicts. It’s has a brush tip, so it’s much easier to apply, unlike other liquid eyeliner and its quite long lasting. It gives that perfect winged eyeliner look, whether you’re trying to create a simple line or a more dramatic one! I want to do a full review on this soon once I have used it more.

Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara: I have heard so much about this mascara and decided to finally pick it up! I have been loving a few products from Tarte lately and this is for sure one of them. It lengthens the lashes, makes them darker and is not clumpy at all. It does give a bit of volume, but sometimes I like to layer this with another mascara for more fuller voluminous lashes.  It isn’t my favorite mascara in the world, but I have been enjoying it so far. It is more natural then the mascaras I usually use, but if you like that look, this one is perfect for you!

Lips:
Mac Lip Liner In Hover: Hover is such an amazing lip liner for me! It has been my go to with every lipstick I wear. I think it matches the color of my natural lips, which is why I can outline them more, and trace outside my natural lip shape without looking crazy! It just makes your lips look bigger, fuller and juicer! Hover is a creamy caramel brown with a little pinkish tone which looks natural but even better with a nude or dark lipstick! If you are looking for those big full lips, try this out.

Mac Lipstick In Heroine: When I saw this color, I wasn’t sure if it was for me. I mean its PURPLE? Purple lips are just way to out there for me, but this color isn’t going to make you look like Barney(Haha!) Heroine is a purply red toned color with a satin finish. It is creamy and wears quite well! Honestly, this may not be for everyone, but if you want to experiment with new colors, check it out. It’s not a crazy purple for my skin tone. I like to use it lightly, dabbing it all over my lips and use my hover lip liner with it. These together, give such a beautiful lip color and make my lips so pouty!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick-Kate Moss Collection in No. 11: I have a full review on this. Even though I experiment a lot with red lips, this one is my favorite from the drugstore. It is pigmented and nourishing, unlike some cheaper drugstore lipsticks that make your lips look chappy and gross. It is the perfect matte red that has a dark undertone but isn’t too dark. It goes so well with my medium skin tone. It’s balmy too, which means that it doesn’t have that total dry matte look to it. I always go back to it and highly recommend it.

I hope you guys enjoyed! Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time!
