Greetings everyone!
I thought this would be a fun post to talk about five things I did in April! March and April have been one of the most craziest months ever, which is why I haven't been able to come on here and share as much as I would like to. Finishing classes and moving on to the next phase of my life has been full of surprises, stress and craziness! But, I thought I would share these five things today.
1) TRAVEL BUG: I have been a travel bug this month! I had an amazing trip with my family to South Africa, which was much needed for all of us. I have a blog post up on that. I also visited Stellenbosch, the Western Cape of SA(wine country). Dubai was also on the travel list and I got the chance to go back home(India) for a bit which is always nice. After I got back, I was off to New York for internship interviews and apartment hunting which was a little stressful, but still a lot of fun. I love New York!
2) BOOK READING: When I travel, I love to have a book with me because I actually end up finishing them. The last book I read was The Girl On The Train and I absolutely loved it. I can totally see that book being made into a movie. I also started reading Finding Alaska by John Green, and so far I like it. I am also obsessed with podcasts! Serial and Undisclosed(a podcast that further talks about the case that you follow in Serial) are what made me get into podcasts in the first place. They are very interesting if you enjoy thrillers, murder stories, etc.
3) BROADWAY SHOW: I got the chance to see Gigi, the Broadway show when I was in New York! I love Vanessa Hudgens and everything about the show is fun and entertaining! It is super cute and girly, but if you are in New York, you must check it out.
4) APARTMENT HUNTING: As most of us know, apartment hunting isn't fun. It's a long process that takes weeks and months of research and searching. This month, I did a lot of apartment hunting in New York! Not an easy place to find an apartment but, hopefully I know where I will be staying in a couple of days.
5) INTERVIEWS: I have been interviewing this past month for a bunch of internships for the Summer. It is been such a fun process and the more you do it the better you get(or at least I think so). Oh well, I hope for the best and lets see what happens next(fingers crossed)!
A lot of changes maybe happening soon and I am very excited!
