FOR THE BROWN EYED GIRLS!

Greetings!

Brown eyes are not the most exciting to work with in the beauty department. I have brown eyes and find them boring out of all the other eye colors. After trying some of these products I can finally say I don't mind having boring brown eyes. I always used only black eyeliners and darker shadows, but I love my new discoveries! It's important to find the right colors, shades and technique to make those eyes pop. Hope this helps!

I have been experimenting with a lot of color. To start off, shades of brown are perfect for brown eyes. I have tried so many browny shadows and these have worked the best. Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow Palette has these two gorgeous shades that I love. One of the shadows is a gorgeous browny champagne gold shadow. The shimmer really catches the light and the rusty reddish brown color smokes up brown eyes perfectly. It is great quality and looks amazing paired together. Another all time favorite, are the Maybelline color tattoo's. I think this is my second pot of this. Maybelline Bad To The Bronze is a metallic, shiny brown color that gives a pop to the eyes. It isn't too shimmery, but has the perfect amount of golden tones. This one is a good for a night out look too and can be used as a base for other shadows.

I have been obsessed with stick shadows too! They are so easy and one swipe gives a perfect amount of pigment with this SmolderEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner. It is velvety and easily to apply and great for those lazy girls. There isn't any shimmer in this one, but it still has a smooth velvety look to it which doesn't make it look flat. I also build this up on my bottom lash line which really emphasizes my eyes.

Now let's talk about different colors. In my opinion, olive greens, blues and purples go the best with brown eyes.  I love MAC's Eye Kohls because they are easy to apply, creamy and blend very well(the things I look for in eyeliners, basically). The colors I love are Rosemary and Thyme, Blooz and Ola Viola. Blue can be quite loud, but it's important to find the right blue. I usually use this when I'm doing a very simple make up look. Nothing too crazy. It really brightens up the eyes. I also love purple eyeliners. That egg-plant type color creates a perfect contrast for brown eyes. I think if you want to try something more simple instead of using purples and blues, olive green is great. It isn't as bright and loud, but still unique. There are many drugstore dupes for these eyeliners too incase you cannot find them or would rather want a less expensive option.

Lastly, purple and green eyeshadows. I'm not talking about the blues and greens you wore as a kid(obnoxious)! My best advice for picking such colors is to not pick your favorite colored eyeshadow, but to look for the right color for your specific eyes. These two shades work great for my eyes. They have specks of gold that really bring out the color of my eyes. For a more smoky look, Fertile by MAC is great. It is blended with a black undertone which makes it not a super bright purple. Lastly, the green color I love is Green-Smoke by MAC. A great mix of gold and olive tones, this baby is great for a smoky eye and can also be worn with a simple eye look.

All eyes are beautiful..All you have to do is find a way to make them more beautiful!

Until next time..
