I have been loving the warm toned eyeshadows, especially for summer. The oranges, red and golds are super flattering! There are a ton of beauty brands that are putting such eyeshadow palettes out there but when I saw this ColourPop Yes Please! Palette I was obsessed and needed it in my collection.
ColourPop is an indie brand that sells amazing quality makeup products for a very affordable price point. They are cruelty-free as well I cannot stop getting sucked into their new launches. With all the unique makeup trends this year, I think the sunset/warm eyes are all over the place. When I saw this ColourPop palette I needed it in my life. It reminded me a lot of the Natasha Denona Sunset Palette which is $129 and always sold out! The Yes, Please! Palette is only $16 for 12 shades with fantastic pigmentation. I find the palette as good as any other higher end shadows and the quality is right up there. They have very good color pay off and buttery which makes them perfectly blendable. The palette has beautiful warm sunset tones that flatter all eyes. I love that there are a good amount of matte and shimmer/metallic shades. It is also versatile because you can create a full glam look or a simple everyday look.
I created a warm orangey gold eye look today. I started with adding GNO and Spoiled to my crease with a crease brush and blending brush. The best way is window wiper motions. I later added Note to Self which is a perfect transition shade. On the ends of the eyes, I added the smallest amount of French Kiss to add some depth and shadow to the look. Lastly, for the pop in the middle, I added the gold and orangey gold color, Chauffeur and Butter Cake in the center of the eyelids.
