Greetings my lovelies!
This post is all about blushes! Any blush lovers out there? I love everything about blush. At one point I used to think I could easily live without it and it wouldn’t be on my list of if there were only a few makeup products you could live without list. Blush makes such a difference to your makeup and look! It brightens everything up and gives you that flush of color that we all wish we had naturally (we can cheat).
Here is a list of a few blushes I have been loving lately. It's a mix of blushes I have loved for a while and some new ones I'm trying out.
theBalm 'Cabana Boy' Powder Blush:
First of all, let me point out the packaging for this baby. theBalm always gets me with their adorable packaging. But luckily, theBalm is not only about packaging, they also have a bunch of amazing products. Cabana boy is a muted raspberry plum kind of color that has a subtle gold sheen that is extremely pigmented. It is not chunky shimmer but more of a luminous gold glow that looks gorgeous with that raspberry pink color. The blush is also very silky and smooth and looks good on every skin tone. LOVE IT!
Tarte “Peaceful” Amazonian Clay Blush:
I never understood what was so unique about Tarte blushes. They are always hyped by so many bloggers but after using this blush I know why everyone raves about them! Peaceful is a soft nude rosy peach color that looks beautiful once applied. It gives that perfect rosy natural glow and lasts all day. None of my blushes last all day but this one really surprised me. I have a small size that came with a gift set I bought and I love it! I can’t wait to go buy more and try out the other colors.
Bobbi Brown Sand Pink Blush:
This is my most used and loved blush(can you tell? I hit pan on it). This was the first blush I ever bought and since then I feel like it’s always been a part of makeup collection. It is the perfect rosy pink. It is the perfect pink for medium to darker skin tones because the color pay off is awesome. It is also smooth to apply and I have to say Bobbi Brown blushes will always be on the top of the list for me. It is also a matte blush so if you don’t want something with a sheen then this one would be your best bet.
Maybelline Master Hi-Light Powdered Blush: (Nude)
I spotted this blush at Ulta and had to pick it up. I was a little skeptical about this blush because it was a highlighter and blush in one, which sounded like a ton of color and lots of glitter but I thought I would give it a go. After trying this out for a while, I have to say I am quite impressed by it. It is no chalky, it has no chunks of glitter and isn’t hard to apply. It is smooth to apply and has the perfect luminous glow to it, which is a great blush and highlighter product in one. It is also affordable which is a plus.
Sleek Beauty Blush in Rose Gold:
This blush has been on my current favorites before and I love it. It is very close to the Nars Orgasm blush, which many beauty lovers love. It is a flattering peach pink with specs of gold shimmer that looks so beautiful on every skin tone. It is another affordable one that is on my top list at the moment. I also featured it in my current favorites!
MAC Sheertone Blush in Loverush:
This is my go to fall and autumn blush. It is a beautiful cool plum color that is perfect for the winter months. It is very pigmented so I make sure I don’t get too much on my brush. Unfortunately Loverush is discontinued but there are many blushes similar to it. I do recommend Mac sheertone blushes though as they are pigmented and smooth.
