Today I want to share and review a purchase with all of you that I recently got! I also want to share this because when I was thinking of getting these I didn't find many reviews on these specific shoes that would have helped me know more about them before getting them. I hope my review for these Gucci Brixton Loafers help you in case you have been wanting to buy them.
I am not going to lie, I have been eyeing these shoes for a very long time now. I have been very impressed with Gucci's comeback and even though I love their new loafers with the unique designs and prints, I decided to stick with something more classic and a pair of shoes I could get more use out of. I like that I can wear these anytime of the year and I don't have to focus on what they go with because you can literally wear these with anything and everything. I also got these because I think a black classic pair of loafers are essential for any wardrobe and I wanted to invest in a pair of good quality shoes. They are a trend piece but classic too!
I got the Gucci Brixton Loafers in size 35. I have small feet so it can be hard to find my size. I am between a 5 and 5.5. If you can try these in store, I would highly recommend that. I just decided to go with 35 but when I buy shoes I always buy between the two sizes. I looked everywhere for my size in black and they were sold out. I finally found them at Net-a-Porter. Firstly, the Net-a-Porter service is amazing. They will help you with any questions and speaking to them over chat or the phone is super easy! They also have a good return policy which is something I always look for when I am online shopping. Net-a-Porter has a huge collection of designer items from shoes, handbags, clothes and accessories. They deliver all over the world too! I have had to control myself because I am addicted to their site. The shoes came beautifully packaged with two dust bags and the return shipping label too. The price on these is $630. I know it is a little pricey for a pair of loafers but I will be getting a lot of use out of them.
Speaking of the shoes now, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I love love love these now. I have been wearing these for two weeks and I can truly say they are one of the best shoes I own. They are extremely comfortable and overall gorgeous! I walked hours in them. I wore them to shopping, brunch, work meetings and even a night out. They have held their shape so far and no scratches. The leather is so buttery it just molds to your foot. I also love the horsebit detail that adds a little something extra to these classic loafers. They literally go with any outfit which is always a plus.
