FEED MY SKIN!

Greetings!

I am back with a beauty post! Today, I want to talk about skin care oils. I always need to try something new when it comes to skin, as I believe that skincare is an investment for the future. Oils are such a new trend in skin care and everyone is raving about them, which is why I have been trying a few for a while and I am ready to share them with you!
I am all about oils for the skin, so I have five to show you all (I know a little crazy). I don’t use them all everyday, but switch them up, depending on how my skin is feeling. I have a fascination for oils though. They have really changed my skin overtime. Personally, oils hydrate my skin and give a perfect glow when I wake up in the morning, which is something I lack due to my crazy sleep schedules.

1) Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate:
This baby isn’t the cheapest oil/serum in the market but it’s better than some and has great reviews. I apply this at night under my night moisturizer. It is very lightweight, so your face won’t feel like a grease ball after applying or irritate your skin, which is something most people expect when you think of putting an oil on your face. It absorbs wonderfully and the results are pretty awesome too. I cannot say that you apply it once and boom, the next day all your skin issues disappear, but over time, this has made my skin feel more hydrated, glowy and not as tired looking as before.
2) Kiehls Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution:
This stuff was something I was very spectacle about. I don’t believe in corrective spot treatments because I think  it takes a long time to fix the problem.  But this little bottle has surprised me. It is lightweight, smells good and really makes a difference on particular blemish marks that have been left behind on the skin. Again, it’s a product that works over time.

3)Life-Flo pure Rosehip seed Oil: Now, I have been hearing about rose hip oil for a long time. Its quite hyped up in the skincare market which is why I purchased a bottle ASAP. After research on the product, it is meant to help with dehydrated and super dry skin types. Harvested from the seeds of rose bushes predominately grown in Chile, rosehip seed oil is full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines. I haven’t given this a lot of time to use, but so far I have enjoyed it. I like this more in the winter months  because I think it’s stronger than the others. Its lightweight as well, but just feels stronger with its various ingredients. But I am so excited to try this out in the winter time(my poor winter skin).

Rosehip Oil: $16.99(1.0.fl.oz)

4)Bio Oil: Bio Oil is a unique oil in my opinion. According to the product, it is a formula that helps with scars, ageing skin, dehydrated skin, uneven skin tone and stretch marks(what?? stretch marks??)I haven’t used it for anything except on my face to help with dehydration and uneven skin tone. This is the only one without the little poppet applicator, which is my only complaint with this product(the packaging basically). So far I have enjoyed it but I think I need to give this a little more time to see more results.

5)L'oreal Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial Oil:
This is another product I have heard amazing reviews about so I went out and bought it. I don’t always trust all Loreal skincare products because they have many ingredients that don’t suit my skin. But this oil is gorgeous. I prefer this in the day over night though. It is a lightweight oil that you can literally put under your SPF or moisturizer and apply make up right over it, which is what I do.   I don’t think this has done much skin care wise for me but when it comes to giving that glow in the day before applying makeup, it does that beautifully. A perfect dewy look wouldn’t be complete without this bottle.

These are just a few oils that I have used so far and thought would share with you all. Some are a little pricey, but worth each and every penny. I highly recommend you check one of these out!

P.S.- These products are available all over the world, so if you can't find them on the specific links above, always check out Amazon or the beauty stores near you!

Hope this helped!

  3. Great review! I have tried rosehip seed oil and bio-oil, they both worked great! I am interested with L'Oreal brand as I have been using their cosmetic brands and works quite well for me. Nice photos, by the way.
